Vehicle categories in the yard
Category A vehicles have been determined to have zero salvageable components. These are the autos that usually end up being scrapped or destroyed. Category X vehicles are extremely uncommon that end up in a junkyard with no obvious damage and are still operable. Then, why are they at a junkyard? Typically, it is because of repossession. Or, these were stolen vehicles that were never recovered.
